About an hour after issuing an Amber Alert for a missing nine-year-old, State Police cancelled the alert, saying Daisha Rhodes had been located.
Earlier, they reported the nine-year-old girl had last seen shortly after 7 p.m. in the area of the Stonington Police Department.
Police say Daisha Rhodes, who is about four feet tall, and weighs about 100 pounds, is white, and has brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing jeans, black snow boots and a red Abercrombie and Fitch jacket.
Police say she’s believed to be with 42-year-old Daniel Candales, who may be driving a silver Ford F250 with a plow and sander attached, with Connecticut combination plate 82CP75.
Police ask that anyone spotting them call authorities, rather than approaching Candales.
