Just before 10:30 Saturday morning, police responded to an armed robbery at Luv Express on Windsor Avenue in Vernon.

Authorities say a man entered the store showing what investigators believe was a handgun. He later fled on foot on Route 83 toward Old Town Road with an undisclosed amount of money.

The man is described as white, around 5-feet, 6-inches tall with an average build. At the time of the incident, he was dressed in black.
