Authorities say a man entered the Sunrise Convenience Store on Broad Street in New London just after 12:30 Saturday afternoon. He displayed a knife when he approached the counter and demanded money from the clerk.

The man was then seen fleeing on foot eastbound on Broad Street.

The suspect is described as a white man in his 20’s, between 5-feet, 3-inches and 5-feet, 6-inches tall with a slim build. He was wearing a gray, hooded sweatshirt at the time of the robbery.

The clerk was not injured in the incident.
