Governors Ask Congress To Expedite Sandy Aid

Governor Malloy has joined the governors of New York and New Jersey in a letter to members of Congress.  They’re asking for expedited assistance for aid for damage in the wake of Hurricane Sandy.

The Senate has approved money for storm recovery,  and the letter from the three governors asks in part, “If this storm had struck your constituency and devastated it the way Sandy has ours, would you say that the House has done enough? “
