Waterbury police say a 34-year old Waterbury woman is in critical but stable condition after she was hit by a vehicle in the parking lot of the Brass Mill Mall about 9:00 a.m. Friday.

Police say Yaneli Nava was crossing the travel portion from the parking area to enter the mall when she was hit by a Saturn SL 1 driven by a 17-year-old driver.   The driver’s name has not been releasee because of her age.

Police say they are continuing to investigate the crash.
