Bristol Police are investigating two separate incidents, just minutes apart in which there were attempts to pick up two nine year old boys Thursday afternoon.The first occurred at the intersection of Beths Avenue and Kathern Street at about 3:45.A boy riding a “Razor” style scooter said a clean shaven white man in his 30′s driving green or blue pickup truck, possibly a Toyota stopped and rolled down his window and threatened to take him if he saw him riding his scooter again.The vehicle left traveling south on Kathern Street.
About five minutes later a 9 year old boy walking near 99 Hiltbrand Road said a dark colored car with tinted windows drove slowly past him and it appeared the driver reached back and opened the passenger side door and motioned as if to have the boy come closer.The vehicle left traveling north on Hiltbrand Road.
Niether child was physically accosted or harmed.Plice do not believe the incidents are related.
