Governor Orders Flags To Half-Staff

Governor Malloy has ordered U.S. and Connecticut state flags to fly at half staff,   in tribute to those killed at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown.

He said flags should remain at half-staff until burial services for the victims.

President Obama issued a proclamation honoring the victims and calling for the national flag to fly at half staff at the White House,  all public buildings and grounds,   military posts, naval stations, ships, embassies and other federal facilities abroad,  until sunset, Dec. 18
