Two Found Shot In Wilton

WILTON, Conn. (AP) _ Wilton police say a man and a woman who live together have been injured by apparent gunshot wounds.

Police say they responded to a call of gunshots fired at a private residence at about 8 a.m. Monday. They found an injured 39-year-old woman at a neighboring residence and a 47-year-old man in an adjacent residence who had suffered a life-threatening gunshot wound.

Police say both injuries appear to have been the result of a gunshot wound.

The man and woman live together in the home where the man was found.

Police say no one else was present at the time.

Police are investigating the incident.
