Record Tied In Road Race’s 76th Running

A record-tying time at the 76th running of the Manchester Road Race,  as Aaron Braun,  former Adams State All -American,   finished first in 21:19.

Braun pulled ahead of the pack turning onto Porter Street.  He said when he saw the time on the board after turning onto Main Street,  he kicked to tie the 1995 record set by Phillamon Hannick.

Haran Lagat was second,  and Donn Cabral of Glastonbury finished third.

The women’s winner was Columbia University All-American Deliliah DiCrescenzo,  in her third running of the race.  She finished second two years ago.
