MANSFIELD, Conn. (AP) _ One of two Connecticut residents confirmed dead in Superstorm Sandy has been identified as a 90-year old Mansfield woman.

State police say Olga Raymond was one of three family members struck by a tree on West Highland Road at about 6:30 p.m. Monday.

Police Lt. J. Paul Vance says the family had lost power and was attempting to make its way to the home of a neighbor who still had electricity. The other two victims were sent to Windham Hospital with serious injuries.

An Easton firefighter also was killed when a tree fell on his truck Monday evening on Judd Road. His name has not been released.
