Non-Essential State Employees Told To Stay Home Tuesday

With limited access highways closed,  more than half a million power company customers in the dark, and thousands of people cut off by flood waters,  Governor Malloy Monday ordered state employees whose positions are classified as “non-essentiaL”  to stay home for a second straight day on Tuesday.

The order applies to all shifts.
