Waterbury Police Seek Bank Robbery Suspect

Waterbury police are investigating a bank robbery at 3:20 p.m. Tuesday at the Wells Fargo Bank on Wolcott Street.

Police say a man handed the teller a note, threatening that he had a gun, and demanding cash.

Police say he fled, possibly in a charcoal grey or black sedan with tinted windows.

They released a security camera photo of the suspect, whom they described as a white male in his mid-twenties, about five-foot-six to five-foot-eight, with brown hair.
