Police Say Man Charged With Extortion Demanded Nude Photos

STRATFORD, Conn. (AP) _ A Stratford man has been charged with attempted extortion after police said he sent emails to women demanding nude photos.

The Connecticut Post reports  that Stratford police say Jon Lisi turned himself in and was released on $50,000 bond. He is due to be arraigned on Oct. 26 on charges of criminal attempt to commit larceny by extortion.

Police say Lisi admitted extorting the women. He’s accused of posting two photos he obtained through extortion on a porn website.

A man who answered the phone at Lisi’s residence Friday morning hung up. It’s not known if he is represented by a lawyer.

The investigation began in August when a woman said she received an email from an unknown man demanding nude photos of her. When she didn’t respond, Lisi sent the woman a photo of herself.
