A Milford man who pleaded guilty to one count of enticing minors into having sex while he was a Peace Corps volunteer has been sentenced.

Jesse Osmun got 15 years in prison with credit for time served, plus 10 years supervised release.

The 32-year-old was doing work for the Peace Corps in South Africa when prosecutors say he coerced the youngsters, all under the age of 6, into illicit behavior.

In court today, Osmun took responsibility for his actions, apologizing to the victims and their families as well as the Peace Corps and the two dozen supporters and family who were in the court.

U.S. Attorney David Fein said Osmun took advantage of those less fortunate and who put their trust in him.
