State Police are looking for a robber who held up a convenience store on Route 6 in Andover overnight.
It was the second holdup at the Andover 7-11 store in a week. Last Tuesday, a man in a hooded sweatshirt pointed a gun at two workers and made off with money from the cash register. This time the robber implied that he had a weapon, but did not show it. He wore a black blong-sleeved sweatshirt, black pants , and black sneakers with two white stripes.
Both this week and last week’s suspects were described as 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-8, weighing about 145 pounds.
Police say the suspect made off with cash and cigarettes.
The Sept. 26 robbery took place about 11:30 at night; this one was reported about 2:30 a.m.
