Reward Offered In Cold Case

A reward of up to $50,000 has been posted in the case of a 26-year-old Norwich woman last seen alive nearly six years ago.

The state authorized the reward for information in the death of Erika Cironi,   whose remains were found in Montville earlier this year.  She had last been seen by her mother on New Year’s Eve, 2006.

Based on the circumstances of the case,  her death is considered a homicide.

Her case is described on the 6 of diamonds “Cold Case” playing cards deck distributed in Connecticut Prisons.
