Police Seek Suspect In Series Of Armed Robberies; 2 Others Also Sought

Hartford police have released a security camera photo of one of three suspects in a series of commercial robberies in Hartford, Newington, Burlington, Bloomfield and East Hartford.  They’re hoping the public can help identify the man.

Police say the tactics in the robberies are similar  and in addition to the man in the photo they are looking for two accomplices.

They say in each case, smaller convenience stores and restaurants were targeted,  two or three suspects were involved,  a pistol-grip type shotgun was used,  and the suspects took the entire  cash drawer out of the register.

Anyone with any information which might help authorities is asked to call the Hartford Police Major Crimes Division,  Detective Dan Mui,  at (860) 757-4263.

The suspect shown in the robbery at the China House restaurant on Franklin Avenue September 18th is about 5-foot-5, 185 pounds.  The other suspects are described as about 5-foot-8,  with thin builds.  One carried a black pump-action shotgun.
