NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – The NFL’s officials will likely get a standing ovation when they take the field for Thursday night’s Cleveland-Baltimore matchup.

Football fans have much to celebrate now that the league and the NFL Referees Association have announced labor peace. Especially after the firestorm following the Seahawks’ disputed win over the Packers on Monday night.

But Giants defensive end Justin Tuck doesn’t think it’ll be smooth sailing in Week 4.

“Its still gonna be an issue when the real guys come back,” Tuck said Wednesday, according to the New York Daily News. “They are going to be rusty.”

Tuck said the main issue is the officials “haven’t had a preseason to practice their craft.”

“It would be like me coming to play a regular-season game, having not practiced or having a preseason game,” he said.

The Giants will take on the Eagles in prime time Sunday. New York linebacker Mathias Kiwanuka said dynamic Philadelphia quarterback Michael Vick poses a problem for any referee.

“You don’t know if he is running the ball. Is he looking to pass? Is he a defenseless player? Is he a runner?” Kiwanuka said, according to the Daily News. “Those kinds of calls are difficult for anybody in real time and they are not always revealed in plays.”
