EAST HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) _ Connecticut environmental officials say an approach to the Charter Oak Bridge between Hartford and East Hartford is closed as crews clean up after a tanker truck rolled over on an Interstate 84 westbound ramp.

Officials say the truck, which has a capacity of 4,500 gallons, was carrying a substance used to manufacture glue. It rolled over at about 5 a.m. Monday.

The state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection says some diesel fuel from the truck also spilled.

The I-84 westbound entrance to the bridge is closed.
