West Hartford Police Arrest Two In Car Break-Ins

West Hartford police investigating a series of burglaries from cars parked in residential neighborhoods have arrested two Hartford men.  Captain Donald Melanson says plainclothes detectives were conducting surveillance in an area around where the break-ins have been taking place when they saw the two behaving suspiciously.  They were picked up after a short chase shortly before 2 a.m. Tuesday.

Christopher Franco and Angel Rodriguez,  both 19,  both of Girard Avenue in Hartford,  face charges of burglary,  larceny and credit card theft.

Police say when the two were taken into custody near Farmington Avenue and Ardmore Road,   they had property taken from vehicles on Westfield and Lancaster Roads.
