West Hartford Man Arrested With 37 Pounds Of Marijuana

A West Hartford man faces drug and traffic charges after he was picked up by state police on Interstate 84 in Southbury Monday.

State police say the trooper clocked the driver of a 2012 Ford Focus travelling 82 miles an hour,  followed him and stopped him.  When he approached the vehicle, he smelled marijuana, and upon searching the vehicle, found a small of marijuana in a bag,  then two large suitcases filled with a total of 37.6 pounds of marijuana.

Police arrested 28-year-old William Servos of Newington Road in West Hartford on charges of possession of marijuana and possession of more than a kilo of marijuana,  possession  of drug paraphernalia and reckless driving.
