Body Found in Waterbury Could Be Remains of Missing Woman

It could be a break in a missing person case in Waterbury. Police a body was found in a wooded area behind a house on Park Terrace Thursday afternoon.

“At this point in time we are investigating the strong possibility that it is the body of Barbara Grohs,” Captain Chris Corbett tells WTIC 1080 News. “Mrs. Grohs, 62-years-old, was reported missing July 30, and the last place she was seen was very close to where the body was discovered.”

An autopsy is scheduled for Friday. Police say they do not suspect foul play.
