SHARON, Conn. (AP and WTIC-AM) _ State police have identified a 23-year-old man who was killed in a home invasion in Sharon and say they are looking for two men.

Luke Vitalis was shot to death at his mother’s home in an isolated area off Route 4 between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. Monday. Authorities say the suspects also tied up his mother, Rita Vitalis, but she wasn’t injured.

State police say the suspects and Luke Vitalis knew each other, and drugs may have been involved. No other details on the motive were released.

Police say the two suspects were white men and both had facial hair, and one of them was wearing a black T-shirt and light-colored pants.

Anyone who was in the area at the time is urged to call state police.
