The Office of the Chief State Medical Examiner has determined the cause of death of an Osborn Prison imate attacked in a hallway by another prisoner.

Authorities say 50-year-old David Dube,  who was serving a sentence for larceny,  suffered blunt head injury.  They’re classifying his death as a homicide.

State Police are investigating the case.
