Firefighter Faces Drug Charges, Including Intent To Sell

Hartford police say a city firefighter has been charged on a variety of drug charges,  including intent to sell and operating a drug factory.  Police say they when they arrested 38-year Rafael Diaz, they seized cocaine, marijuana, hallucinogenic mushrooms and ecstasy, as well as a loaded .22 caliber pistol and cash.

Fire Chief Edward Casares says Diaz was placed on administrative leave with pay pending an internal fire department investigation.
