NEW HAVEN, Conn. (AP) _ New Haven police are investigating a fatal shooting in the city’s Fair Haven neighborhood.
Police say they received several calls just before 3:30 a.m. Tuesday reporting a man had been shot on Atwater Street.
Police say the victim, 27-year-old Reuben Gonzalez of New Haven, was sent to Yale New-Haven Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police say preliminary information suggests Gonzalez was being robbed when he was shot.
Police say nobody has been arrested.
