PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) _ A fencing coach has been charged with molesting a 14-year-old girl attending a camp at Brown University.
Fifty-six-year-old Gustavo Ducuing of Escondido, Calif. was arraigned Tuesday on charges of second-degree sexual assault and assault.
Prosecutors allege Ducuing brought the girl to his private apartment at the school Monday, exposed himself to her and forced her to touch him.
Ducuing, a former South American fencing champion from Argentina, was released on a $15,000 bond and ordered to stay in Rhode Island. It was not immediately clear if he had hired a lawyer and his phone number in California is not listed.
Brown University spokeswoman Darlene Trew Crist issued a statement saying it notified the girl’s parents and other campers about the incident had has issued a no-trespass order against Ducuing.
