Authorities Identify Watercraft Operator Killed In Lyme

LYME, Conn. (AP) _ The man who died over the weekend when his personal watercraft hit a private dock on the Connecticut River has been identified as a 34-year-old Wolcott resident.

The Department of Energy and Environmental Protection says conservation police are still investigating the accident that killed Austin Mordowanec.

The crash in Lyme was reported around 6 p.m. Sunday. Conservation police responded along with local emergency crews.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
