Man Shot In Hartford Cemetery

Hartford police cadets and members of the new police training class were called to Zion Hill Cemetery Thursday to search for a weapon,  after a man was found in the cemetery,  suffering multiple gunshot wounds.

Police say they had no citizen complaint,  but an officer on routine patrol spotted the wounded man in the cemetery at about 6:30 a.m. It wasn’t clear until doctors examined him at the hospital that his injuries were a result of being shot.  No weapon was found at the scene.

Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call the Hartford police major crimes division.
