State Police have arrested the mother of a three-year old who died in November.   Athena Angeles died of blunt abdominal and chest trauma, and her death was ruled a homicide.

25-year-old Rosa Diaz-Mendez is charged with manslaughter, risk of injury to a child, interfering with police and making a false statement.  Her live-in boyfriend,  24-year-old Fredy Alexander Chingo Riz was previously arrested in the case,  charged with manslaughter, assault and risk of injury.
