Car Hits Aldi In Torrington

A car crashed into a supermarket on Route 4 in Torrington this afternoon.

Torrington Fire Department Lieutenant Chip Warner says the crash left a 4-foot by 6-foot area of damage to masonry on the side of the building.

There was a vehicle that lost control, and drove into the side of the building,” Warner said.

The store remained open after the crash.

There were no injuries.
