FAIRFIELD, Conn. (CBS Connecticut) – For one shoplifter, it was all about that thong, th-thong, thong, thong.
About 60 Victoria’s Secret thongs and lace panties valued at more than $600 were stolen from a Fairfield outlet Thursday. Fairfield Police said in a news release that the underwear was stolen around 5 p.m. Thursday when the Victoria’s Secret manager on duty was assisting a co-worker with the cash register. When the manager returned to the display table at the front of the Victoria’s Secret store, the table had been cleared out and rendered empty.
Store employees indicate that there were about 60 pairs of thongs and panties on the table, each valued at $11.50. The statement from Fairfield Police puts the total amount of the underwear grab at somewhere between $600 and $700.
No word as to whether the shoplifter was a Sisqo fan.
