NORWALK (CBS Connecticut) – A patient checking out of a local hospital was arrested before she could leave after she was found to be in possession of both marijuana and psychedelic mushrooms at the time of her arrival.

According to the Connecticut Post, 30-year-old Heather Kruger was in the process of being discharged Wednesday afternoon.

Before she departed, however, a hospital employee called the Norwalk police to inform them that the patient had checked herself in with two glass jars and two bags full of marijuana.

She also reportedly had a bag of psychedelic mushrooms on her when she first came to the hospital, Sgt. Lisa Cotto told the paper.

Kruger will face a long list of charges, including three separate counts just for the marijuana she had – possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to sell and possession of marijuana with intent to sell within 1,500 feet of a school.

She was charged with four additional crimes, due to the amount of illegal drugs she had and her proximity to a school.

She is presently being held in lieu of a $20,000 bond, according to the Post.
