Waterbury Man Dies, Thrown From Moving Car After Shooting

WATERBURY, Conn. (AP) _ A 27-year-old Waterbury man has died after he was shot in the head while in a car and left in the road.

The Republican-American and The Hartford Courant report that David Caban was shot outside his home Saturday night. He died Sunday.

Caban was in a car with two other men, a driver and a front seat passenger, at the time of the shooting.

The driver sped off with Caban in the car following the shooting and he was thrown from the car while it was still moving or otherwise removed.

He died at St. Mary’s Hospital.

Police believe Caban knew the suspects, but no arrests had been made as of Sunday afternoon.

Police have found the empty car.
