Woman, 26, Shot In Lebanon

LEBANON, Conn. (AP) – State police are investigating the shooting of a 26-year-old woman in a rare incident of gun violence in Lebanon.

Troopers and paramedics responded to a 911 call reporting the shooting on Kick Hill Road shortly after 1 a.m. Wednesday. The property where the woman was shot includes a salon.

The woman was brought to Hartford Hospital and is listed in serious condition with a gunshot wound. Her name hasn’t been released.

State police say troopers have seized evidence at the scene and interviewed witnesses, but no one has been arrested.
