PLYMOUTH, Conn. (AP) _ State and local police are investigating the deaths of two people who had been reported injured in different places in Plymouth at about the same time.
Plymouth police received two 911 calls at about 6:15 p.m. Sunday reporting that a person at each location appeared injured. Both people were pronounced dead at each scene.
Police say a 45-year-old Plymouth man was found dead outside an apartment and retail building on Main Street, and a 43-year-old woman from the Plymouth and Bristol area was found dead about a mile away in a room at a Main Street motel. Their names haven’t been released.
The state police major crime squad was called in to investigate. Authorities are calling both deaths suspicious, but they don’t appear to be related. Autopsies are planned.
