2 Waterbury Men Due in Court Monday in Street Fight Death

WATERBURY, Conn. (AP) _ A 17-year-old girl has died after being struck by a vehicle after a street fight between two men in Waterbury.

Brianna Washington of Waterbury died early Saturday morning.
The Republican-American reports (http://bit.ly/IYhW5f ) that 29-year-old Justin Skipwith of Waterbury stopped his vehicle to talk to her and a friend when 20-year-old Eric Delbuono, who dates Washington’s friend, confronted Skipwith.
Police say Skipwith left his vehicle and the two men began fighting. Police say Delbuono stabbed Skipwith, who bit Delbuono in the back.

The two girls tried to break up the fight, and police say Skipwith fled in his vehicle, striking Washington.
Skipwith has been charged with manslaughter, reckless endangerment and assault. Delbuono was charged with assault.
The two men are in custody.
