NORWALK, Conn. (AP) _ A hearing has been scheduled for June in the case of a New Canaan journalist accused of harassing the daughter of her boyfriend by posting the teenager’s journal entries on Facebook.
Teri Buhl says she is planning to challenge the police report at the hearing scheduled for June 4.
The judge said during a hearing Thursday in Norwalk Superior Court that a trial could begin in September.
Police allege Buhl posted embarrassing parts of personal journals kept by her boyfriend’s 17-year-old daughter, who contacted police after finding some of her journal entries on Facebook.
Buhl was charged in November 2010 with harassment and other crimes.
The 39-year-old financial journalist denies the charges and says she was arrested for looking into New Canaan police’s failure to investigate a teenagers’ drinking party.
