Norwich police and the Southeastern Connecticut-New London County Cold Case Unit are asking for information from the public as they investigate the murder of a woman whose body was found earlier this year,   more than five years after she was last seen alive.

Erika Cirioni was 26 when she disappeared.  Her remains were found in the area of Oxoboxo Dam Road in Montville.  Investigators are canvassing the area today,  asking residents if they remember anything which may be useful in their investigation.  An FBI team will help examine the area for clues.
