No Foul Play Apparent In New Haven Student’s Death
WEST HAVEN, Conn. (AP) _ Police say the death of a University of New Haven student whose body was found on a walking path near the school doesn’t appear to be the result of foul play.
West Haven police say they’re treating the case as an untimely death while they await autopsy results.
The body of 20-year-old Stirling Danskin of Waterford was found Wednesday on a path near the corner of Chauncey and Rockdale streets. Police say a person walking the path discovered the body and called 911.
UNH President Steven Kaplan said in an email to students and staff that Danskin was a sophomore at the university majoring in music and sound recording.
University officials offered counseling to students on Wednesday.
