DirecTV, Tribune Reach Deal

DirecTV and Tribune Broadcasting have patched up their feud.

The two sides have struck a deal ending an impasse that had blacked out some channels carried by the satellite television provicer in major U.S. markets since Sunday.

The deal announced late Wednesday lets DirecTV carry all of Tribune’s local stations and WGN America for the next five years.

In Hartford,  that means the blackout has ended for broadcasts of Channel 61 an Channel 20.
