Third Arrest In Connection With October Shooting Death

A New Britain man already in custody on other charges is the third person charged in connection with a fatal shooting nearly six months ago. Police say 22-year-old John "Mikey" Martinez was pronounced dead shortly after he was dropped off at the Hospital of Central Connecticut New Britain campus.

20-year-old Jimmy Rosado,  who had been in custody on weapons and drug charges,  and for assault on police,  now also faces murder conspiracy and charges of murder-criminal liability for the acts of another.  He's held in lieu of a million dollars bond.

Last week two others were charged in the Martinez shooting,  22-year-old Juan Rivera and 24-year-old Victor Gonzalez.
