Hampton Man Charged With Attempted Sex Assault Of Teen

A Hampton man has been charged with trying to meet a 15-year-old boy for sex.

Charles L. Young, 21, was arrested Monday– his birthday– on charges of enticing a minor, risk of injury to a minor, and second-degree attempted sexual assault, said police.

Authorities say investigators set up surveillance of the area where Young had requested that the boy meet him, and Young was arrested when he arrived. He was held on $250,000 bond pending arraignment Tuesday in Danielson Superior Court.
