Man Killed On Route 6 Spoke To Another Driver Shortly Before Accident

The pedestrian killed on Route 6 in Farmington last week had stopped at a service station just minutes earlier,  and had a brief conversation with another driver.  Farmington police are hoping to find the man who spoke to 83-year-old Arthur Walker of Southington,  and find out if he said anything which might help in their investigation.

After the conversation at the Global Gas Station and Dunkin Donuts, , Walker got in his car and pulled onto Route 6 ,  then stopped his vehicle alongside the roadway,  got out into traffic and was hit by another vehicle.

Police are hoping the man from the service station can shed some light on the circumstances.  They’re asking him to call Sergeant Walzak or Officer Stone at the Farmington Police Department,  (860) 675-2400.
