Rudy Gay To Be Honored At UConn-Syracuse Game

UConn is adding former Husky Rudy Gay,  now in his sixth season in the NBA as a member of the Memphis Grizzlies,  to the “Huskies of Honor.”  A plaque will be installed at Gampel Pavilion, adding his name to those of 20 others At Saturday’s UConn-Syracuse game.

Gay, who was a first round pick in the 2006 NBA draft,  was chosen First Team All-American and All-Big East in 2005-06, and was the Big East and National Freshman of the Year in 2004-05
