Police Ask Public’s Help As They Investigate Accident Which Killed Two

Bloomfield police are investigating a fatal accident Saturday.  Police say two people were killed when the Volkswagen Jetta ran off the road westbound in the area of 62 Terry Plains Road. It struck several trees before overturning.

Both people in the car were killed.  They are identified as the driver,  49-year-old Truman Kilburn, Jr., and his passenger, 57-year-old Judy Deschaine,  both of 12 Butternut Drive in Bloomfield.

Police say a passing driver spotted the wreckage of the accident,  which happened sometime between 1 a.m. and 5:30 a.m.

They’re asking that anyone with any information about the accident call Bloomfield police at (860)242-5001.
