Bristol, Conn. (CBS Hartford) — Bristol police say they have arrested two teenagers who ransacked several homes and left behind a disgusting calling card.
The teenage boys robbed five homes in and around Bristol, according to WPIX-TV. Police tell the station that the suspects would urinate on beds, stoves and ovens while trashing the homes.
According to the station, the duo took nearly $30,000 in merchandise — including guns, knives, jewelry, and video games. Only $11,000 has been recovered so far.
During their investigation, police checked the break-ins with a pattern of school absences, which lead them to the two teenagers.
The teens reportedly admitted to the crime and police are checking to see if they can link them to more robberies.
CBS Hartford reached out to Bristol police for comment.
