POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. (AP) – Funeral services are set for a 21-year-old woman from Connecticut who was among the three people killed when a fire tore through an off-campus home being rented by students at a Hudson Valley college.

The Poughkeepsie Journal reports that services for Eva Block of Woodbridge, Conn., are being held Monday afternoon at a funeral home in Fairfield, Conn.

Block was a senior at Marist College in the town of Poughkeepsie. Another female Marist student and a young man were also killed when a fire broke out early Saturday morning at a home rented by Marist students. Police haven’t released the names of the other two victims.

Four other people inside the house escaped by jumping out windows.

The cause of the fire is being investigated.
