Man Killed On I-95 Ramp Identified

ORANGE, Conn. (AP) _ Police say a 60-year-old man was struck by a car and killed as he attempted to walk across an exit ramp on Interstate 95 in Orange.

State police say the man’s car had broken down late Wednesday afternoon on the northbound side of the highway. He got out of the car and was struck as he walked across the ramp near exit 41. Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene.

The victim was identified as Jim Borson of West Haven. The ramp was closed for two hours as police responded and the accident remains under investigation.
