Farmington Police Identify Rt. 6 Crash Victims

Farmington Police say a New York City woman was killed in Wednesday’s crash on Route 6 over Rattlesnake Mountain, which closed the roadway for hours.

Ashley A. Kozlosky, 24, was pronounced dead at a local hospital after her 2008 Nissan crossed into oncoming traffic and slammed into a 2009 Nissan driven by a Farmington woman, said police.

Police say the driver of the other vehicle, Jeanne C. Ambrosio, 54, was hospitalized with serious injuries.

The crash occurred shortly after 9 a.m. Wednesday, west of Reservoir Rd. Police ask anyone with information on the case to contact either Sgt. Paul Walzak at 860-675-2415 or Officer James Stone at 860-675-2427.
